Let's Encourage Kids To Write Their FABLES!!!

Fables always come with moral values at the end of the story. Young students like fable for their lessons in the classroom. Many famous fables can be used as teaching materials. Students may learn to do comprehension exercises, vocabulary learning, sentence writing and many more. Writing skill can be developed through reading fables. Fables are mostly short and simple to understand. Therefore, it would not be too tough when a teacher sets a task like writing a fable. Young students have extremely good imagination and their creativity could appear to be astonishing. As long as the teacher facilitates along the progress of writing, even lower primary students could produce their own creation of fables.

To write a fable, firstly, a student has to come out with a moral value that he or she wants to stress on. When the moral value is set in mind, the student may process by drafting a frame for his or her fable. Animal characters in a fable could be interesting and attracting. Somehow, the student is also allowed to use human characters if he or she wants to. After deciding the characters, the student may begin to write. The teacher should assist all students by checking if there is any mistake in their writings. It is important to make sure that the writing is in a smooth flow. Probably, in the process of writing, a few drafts might be needed but I am pretty sure that if the teacher would guide the students, steps by steps, and many new fables could then be created.

I like to read the Fables written by my students because the content and the story line are just too interesting. Even though, there are some similarities in their writing, but it is a thing to be proud, as a teacher, when her students are able to write stories.
